FOREIGN MISSION WORK
Bangladesh and Nepal
The Horse Cave Church of Christ has supported bro. Mike Brooks since 2000. Bro. Brooks is working to train native preachers in Bangladesh and Nepal to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in a predominately Muslim country. This work is overseen by the elders at the Highland Park Church of Christ in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
South Africa
Brother Al Horne continues his work with the South African Bible School which was established in 1966. Over 250 graduates have been trained and are working in 20 countries. The Horse Cave Church has supported bro. Horne since 1992. His work is overseen by the Memorial Church of Christ in Houston, Texas.
Thailand
In 2001, the Horse Cave Church of Christ began supporting bro. Patinya Thitathan in his work in Thailand through the Heritage Church of Christ in Ft. Worth, TX. This work centers on the youth at the university located in Bangkok, a very large city and a huge university with over 500,000 students. Brother Patinya is a graduate of Sunset International Bible Institute in Lubbock, Texas and chose to return to his homeland to teach and preach to a predominately Buddhist nation.
Mexico
In 2000, the Church in Horse Cave began supporting bro. Liberato Ovalle, who teaches at the branch school of Sunset International Bible Institute in Toluco, Mexico. Bro. Ovalle teaches and trains preachers to work in Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries.
Athens, Greece
We are financially helping bro. Darrell Wallace who plans to become an Instructor at the Branch School of Sunset International Bible Institute in Athens, Greece. Darrell grew up in the church here at Horse Cave. He presently is preaching at the Mt. Vernon Church of Christ in Park City, KY, and they will be his overseeing congregation. Nigeria, Africa
This is our newest mission work, having begun in September of 2003 to support bro. Doka Obadiah to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in Nigeria. To see more of his work, click the link on the left menu of this webpage that tells all about his story.

Green County, Ky
The Horse Cave congregation supports bro. Danny McCain who works in Greensburg with the only congregation of the Church of Christ in Green Co. Bro. McCain also receives support from several other congregations in the area. Danny & his wife, Janet are faithful workers in the Lord's kingdom. Munfordville, Ky
The Munfordville Church of Christ has been supported by the Horse Cave congregation for many years. Brother Marty Edwards (a native of Hart Co.) is the preacher for the congregation located in the county seat of Hart Co. Marty & Ruby are a stable influence for the church in Munfordville. Mid-South Bible Institute
Located in Glasgow, Ky. is a satellite school of the Sunset International Bible Institute of Lubbock, TX (http://www.sibi.cc/). MSBI serves several congregations located in south-central Kentucky. Students receive video instructions from certified Bible instructors from SIBI and can receive credit toward a Bible degree or simply audit the instruction for personal growth. The school is located at 413 Samson St. in Glasgow, Ky. The phone # is 651-7218.

Potter Children's Home
For many years, the Horse Cave Church of Christ has supported Potter Children's Home in Bowling Green, Ky. Potter Home offers many services to orphaned children in a Christian setting. Website for Potter
ChildPlace
Is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana also offers services to orphaned and troubled youth in a Christian setting. Horse Cave has financially supported this work for many years. Website for Childplace
